What’s the value of a lifetime of memories?
We believe the most valuable things we gather in a lifetime are our experiences with the people who matter to us, and the wisdom we gain from them. A funeral often costs thousands of dollars, while what matters most quietly disappears.

How Aatlas compares
All three help you collect a life story. Here’s where they differ, based on their own websites as of October 2026.
Pay once. No subscription, ever.
Cards expire and renewals get missed. A subscription is the wrong shape for something meant to outlive us. No ads, and we never sell your personal information.

Every Aatlas is its own private space with 5 GB of room for stories, photos, videos and voice recordings. You get the Timeline, the Places Map, the 1‑Click Slideshow and Memories, and everyone you invite adds for free, with no account.
Yes, and it’s free for them. Invite as many people as you like by email. They tap the link in their invitation to add photos, voice recordings or written memories, with no account needed. Anyone who creates a free account can add videos too.
Yes. You can start an Aatlas for someone still with us, someone who has died, or yourself. Memories dated after they died, like the service or a later anniversary, get their own chapter on the Timeline, called Legacy.
Yes. Only the people you invite can see your Aatlas, and nothing becomes public unless you ask us to make it public. We never sell your personal information, and we never show ads.
There’s no trial, because there’s no subscription to test. You can look around Sylvia Berry’s public Aatlas first. And if Aatlas isn’t what you hoped, 30 days and a full refund.
One payment keeps it online, with no renewal that can lapse and take the memories with it. We never delete an Aatlas for inactivity. If Aatlas ever has to close, we’ll tell you at least 90 days ahead and send every Aatlas owner a complete copy. And your Aatlas belongs to you: ask any time and we’ll send you all of it.
Some life-story services ask one person to tell it all. An Aatlas gathers stories from everyone who knows the person, works for someone who has died as well as someone living, and becomes four things at once: a Timeline, a Places Map, a 1‑Click Slideshow and Memories. You pay once, with no subscription.
