Give something beautiful that isn’t a thing.

Give someone an Aatlas: one private place to gather a life’s stories, photos and voice recordings from everyone who knows them. It arrives by email with your message, now or on a day you choose. They decide whose life it celebrates: their own, or someone who matters to them.

What you’re giving

One Aatlas, gathered by everyone who knows them. Some people bring photos and stories nobody else has seen. Aatlas turns what they add into four things to enjoy, and each keeps growing.

The Timeline

Every memory with a date lands in its year, across the chapters of a life.

The Places Map

Every memory with a place is pinned, so you can wander a life one town at a time.

The 1‑Click Slideshow

Press play and their photos and captions go by in order, chapter by chapter, on any phone or computer, or on a TV by casting.

Memories

Every story, photo, video and voice recording in one place. Stories get a suggested title.

Two ways to give it

Give it to them

They open your email, start their Aatlas and choose whose life it celebrates. Then they invite everyone who knows that person to add what they remember.

Make it together, as a surprise

Start an Aatlas for them yourself and gather stories in secret with everyone who knows them. Then let the slideshow play while the room fills up.

How it arrives

By email, with your message, on the day you choose.

1. Choose the gift

One Aatlas, $99, paid once. No subscription for you or for them.

2. Write your message

Add a note in your own words. It travels with the gift.

3. Pick the day

Send it now, or schedule it for the birthday or holiday itself.

4. They begin when they’re ready

They choose whose life it celebrates and invite the people in that story. There’s no deadline.

For the days that matter

Mother’s Day and Father’s Day

The gift is the asking. Tell them you want to know the whole story, then gather it with everyone else who knows them.

The holiday season

One more thing to unwrap, and the one gift that keeps filling up. An Aatlas is still growing long after the decorations come down.

A milestone birthday

Gather the stories in secret, then let the slideshow play while the room fills up: a life going by, told by the people who were there.

A gift, not homework

No deadline

There’s nothing to finish. It’s ready to enjoy from the first memory, and they can add more whenever one comes to mind.

Questions to start from

Aatlas suggests questions across ten parts of a life. The questions adapt to how you know them, once you tell us.

Easy on any screen

It works on a phone or a computer. They can speak a memory and Aatlas writes it down. Everyone they invite adds for free, with no account.

Questions people ask before they give

What does it cost?

$99, once. There’s no subscription, and we never charge anyone to keep it. Aatlases also come in packs: three for $249 or five for $399.

Can it arrive on the day?

Yes. Send it now, or choose a date and it arrives by email that day, with your message.

Can I set it up for them instead?

Yes. Start an Aatlas yourself, then invite them and everyone who knows them to add their stories. You keep it, and they’re invited to add to it.

What if they’re not comfortable with technology?

It works on a phone or a computer. They can speak a memory and Aatlas writes it down. The people they invite can add photos and stories too, free and with no account.

Who will see what they make?

Only the people they invite. Every Aatlas is private from the first moment, and nothing becomes public unless they ask us to make it public.

What if it isn’t right?

Satisfaction, guaranteed: if Aatlas isn’t what you hoped, 30 days and a full refund. Until they start their Aatlas, you can ask; after that, the refund is theirs to ask for.

Can I see one first?

Yes. Sylvia Berry’s Aatlas is public, so anyone can open it and look around.

We give away a free Aatlas every month.
